I am Anasha Clarisa Richards Caffey, a native of Chicago, IL.
I was born and raised on the Southeast side of Chicago. My community, known as Hyde Park, has a reputation of being an upscale community. I have been blessed to live in an area where violence is scarce and opportunity is high. I am a child of a single parent due to my fathers untimely death when I was just five years old. And though his death still haunts me, it allows me to find greatness in my mother. For her to have raised such a child as I; who never engaged in street activities, finished high school with no short comings, attended her Alma Mata on a full scholarship and excel against all pure pressure and first year blues. My mom, Mrs. Robbie Caffey, a native of Columbia, Mississippi has shown and given me all I need and more, And for that I am forever grateful to her. I hope one day I can give her all the riches she has given me.
In May 2003 I will graduate from Alcorn State University receiving a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. I will then obtain a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Belhaven College. I will then teach at an elementary school in Jackson, Mississippi for a number of years. I eventually would like to teach at the collegiate level. Obtaining a PhD is not out the question but I'm not 100% sure yet.
I want the best that life can offer. I have goals that I plan to reach if my Savior Jesus Christ says the same.
